Walking Tour: Community Planner at the Carl Small Town Center and former CAO of the City of Greenwood, Thomas Gregory, will lead a walking tour and discussion of the Yazoo River Trail area. This public space amenity adjacent to the historic downtown includes walking trails, a stage, arboretum, swift tower, and pedestrian bridges and boardwalks. Gregory will describe how the projects were conceived, funded and realized with a focus on how Greenwood residents participated in the projects and have benefited physically and socially from the amenities.
